Izzolan Arg. S.A. was born, starting the wool fat recovery services.
In 1973, the processing of wool fat for the production of industrial lanolin began
and its subsequent commercialization in the Argentine market, initially to tanning,
metallurgical, oil and paint industries.
In 1976 new technologies were incorporated for the production of anhydrous lanolin,
used for cosmetic use.
The Tomás Family joined the company, incorporating the production of beeswax and equipment for extracting wool grease in laundry rooms, starting Inquimec S.R.L.
We developed the integral construction of grease recovery plants in wool washers. We began to process beeswax to provide laboratories, and we expanded the production and processing capacity of lanolines in order to develop commercial actions in the internal and external market.
We´d achieved a synergy relationship with wool washers, to ensure the supply of raw material in the manufacture of lanolin. That allowed us to move the industrial processing plant to the Máximo Paz property. Thanks to this we obtained a preferential categorization in the domestic market with cosmetic laboratories
We created by-products and derivatives of lanolin in our new pilot plant for derivatives. We started a strong job in the implementation of Iso 9001 quality standards, in order to meet the requirements of an increasingly competitive and demanding market that is constantly evolving. We develop commercial activities abroad
